Mick Chillage - celestial observations 2

The first "Celestial Observations" album was the second release on Before & After Silence recordings & one of the best sellers on the label so far, its mix of spatial drones, improvised synths, experimentalism & atmospheric aesthetic appeared to appeal to the Berlin School/Space music fans as much as the Ambient minimalist drone appreciators as I feel it fell in between these two spheres. "Celestial Observations 2" continues with these themes but this time I created the album with the intension of it being something listened to in one sitting. Ten tracks shift and morph through dark & light passages of varying duration that pays homage and respect to the amazing minds that invented the various telescopes that enable us to view the cosmos and gather more insight to many theories & mysteries that have fascinated star gazers since the dawning of man.
