David Newlyn is an ambient producer based in Durham, UK, who has released many albums and EPs on labels such as Mobeer, Cotton Goods, Time Released Sound, Hibernate Recordings, Oscarson, Wist Rec., Polar Seas Recordings, Symbolic Interaction, Tokyo Droning, Rural Colours and on his own October Man Recordings and Cathedral Transmissions. Encouraged To Lose is made up of five new compositions, with a total duration of something more than 32 minutes.
