Jason Sweeney's Panoptique Electrical project presenting "Quiet Ecology", a sonic memorial to these spaces and a musical act of quiet preservation. It’s a relaxing collection of six quiet compositions, with a total duration of something more than 45 minutes, which sets out to slow things down. Centered on gentle piano melodies and a background full of atmospheric textures and swelling cello drones, Quiet Ecology balances between modern classical and ambient soundscapes, in the vein of both ambient pioneers like Brian Eno and Harold Budd and artists like Max Richter and A Winged Victory For The Sullen.
